Residents and employees at Vincentian de Marillac are finally starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel after navigating through these difficult times during the pandemic. One of the most exciting things for our residents is the return of pet visitors! Residents are now permitted to have two visitors and an additional pet visitor during their scheduled visits with the activity department. Other restrictions have been lifted as well, including the resumption of social dining for lunch, and the re-opening of the therapy gym to more than one resident at a time. The residents are really enjoying getting to see their friends again!
There have been many visitors that come and go, but one we can’t wait to see each week is our Activity Manager, Krista’s, new puppy Kirby! Kirby is a 14-week old Corgi who loves to snuggle and give kisses. The residents immediately fell in love with her and look forward to her visits on Fridays when she makes her rounds to each room! Kirby gives the residents and employees something to look forward to, and she can make anyone smile with her precious face and playful personality. We look forward to more paws-itive changes in the near future!
